Woa, I just found out one cool thing- isotopes can be used to determine where a person comes from! how cool is that!
it's actually quite simple: As your body grows hair, it uses the isotopes it absorbed from your local drinking water. Reading the isotopes tells scientists where the person lived. This tool can be used to help identify bodies and solve missing persons cases.
